| If you never have any problems & nothing's ever
wrong, if you never receive any persecution &
"all men speak WELL of you" (Lk.6:26), then
you're not living Godly in Christ Jesus!--"For all
that will live Godly in Christ Jesus SHALL suffer
persecution!" (2Tim.3:12)
Persecution shows you're getting the job done! It shows
you're hitting the Devil where it hurts when his
followers start howling! It shows that you're really on
the job, which really makes the Devil mad! Jesus Himself was terribly persecuted & finally crucified for telling the Truth & showing God's Love to the World.--And He said, "The DISCIPLE is not above his MASTER: If they have persecuted ME, they will also persecute YOU." (Mat.10:24; Jn.15:20) Therefore, "Rejoice & be exceeding glad, for great is your reward in Heaven, for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you!" (Mat.5:12) Jesus promised that if you would SUFFER with Him, you would also REIGN with Him! (2Tim.2:12) So are you going to reign a little while now, & suffer a lot later?--Or are you going to suffer a little now & reign forever? |
